Dyeing Process

Dyeing Process

Process to fix textile colors onto the textile products.

Dyeing Fixing agent

After dyeing process, fabric has unfixed dyestuff on the surface and if it becomes final goods, it causes color migration when it is wet or dyeing washing. Dye fixing agent is to be applied to dyed fabric to fix the unfixed dyestuff on fabric.

Levelling agent for polyester

Leveling agent accelerates the diffusion property for high-temperature polyester dyeings. It accelerates the diffusion of dispersed dyestuffs into the polyester fabric and hence enables a good dyestuff pick-up.

Levelling agent for cotton

Leveling agent mainly applies in cotton, linen, rayon, and its blends. It works on the dye molecule and helps in fixing the dye particles uniformly which enables the to obtain uniform shade.

Dispersing agent for polyester

Dispersing agents produce a stale aqueous dispersion of dyes of very low solubility. These are used to impart the leveling effect as well as to keep the dye in a dispersed form to avoid dye aggregation and precipitation. It helps to increase dye solubility.

Anti-crease Lubricant

Anticrease lubricant is an additive that reduces textile-to-textile friction during processing so that fabric is saved from permanent sharp crease marks. Minimizing the formation of crease marks in the textile processing phase is an important segment that forms a protective coating around the fiber.

Dyeing carrier for polyester

Carrier is an organic compound that accelerates dyeing by breaking up or dissolving dye aggregates and bringing them to the fiber-water interface in size small quantities enough to be absorbed by the material.

Disperse dyes are poorly soluble in hot water. The extreme crystalline nature of polyester fibers creates problems in obtaining dark shades by conventional dyeing methods even at high temperatures. Carriers assist the dispersed dyes to enter polyester polymer. It swells up the polyester fiber making inter-polymer space and letting the dye molecules enter the polymer easily enabling dark shades to be produced.

Reduction clearing Agent

After dyeing the fibers with polyester dyestuffs, a Reduction clearing agent is used to remove the excess dye on the fiber surface by reductively degrading, if not removed would have affected fastness. Our reduction clearing agents are very concentrated and are available both in liquid and powder according to the requirement.
